Carbon supply chain footprint, benchmarks

Bagir Ltd. is an international tailoring provider, specialising in the development, manufacture and marketing of high quality men and women´s tailored fashions.

The main objective of the Greenstone study was to calculate the operational carbon footprint of Bagir’s factories and warehouses, the emissions from transport / delivery of raw materials to the factories, and the delivery of goods from the factories to the UK and USA.  The data was also used to calculate benchmarks for the output for each of these stages, weighted according to the average time to manufacture the products, i.e. kgCO₂/jacket.

The results of the study will be used by Bagir to improve the efficiency of the supply chain and help reduce their carbon footprint.
