What platform does the Greenstone solution use?

Our solution is based on ASP model using Microsoft technology (.NET platform with Microsoft SQL server as the database).

How is the Greenstone solution implemented?

As a web based ASP solution, Greenstone's Acco2unt product suite requires no capital expenditure or technical installation.  Our Acco2untlite product is designed to be self servicing with comprehensive online instructions to lead your organisation through the carbon measurement process.  The Acco2untenterprise product is a more sophisticated tool which requires interaction with Greenstone's Service Delivery Team to capture your organisation's requirements, configure the tool and provide any additional training.

An email and phone support service is provided for all Acco2unt users.

What are my organisation's technical requirements to implement the solution?

The Greenstone solution is a web based application using an ASP model. The solution supports IE8, IE7, Safari and Mozilla Firefox web browser. This is best viewed on 1024x768 resolution.

Can my organisation obtain a local version of the Greenstone solution?

This can be done but is generally prohibitive to implement and maintain.

What type of training does Greenstone provide?

Greenstone provides a variety of training options, depending on our client's requirements.  Our Acco2unt solution includes a comprehensive online help function, supported by a mix of classroom or individual training for an organisation's key user community and live online training sessions.  The Acco2untlite product is designed to be entirely self-servicing through a set of online step by step instructions which guide the user through a basic carbon measurement process.

Where is the Greenstone solution hosted?

Greenstone uses a reputable third party hosting partner.

What is the Greenstone Business Continuity Statement?

Greenstone Carbon Management recognises that threats exist to its ability to continue normal business operations following a serious unexpected disruptive incident and has in place a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to assist the company in managing such events in a controlled and structured manner. The BCP contains information on emergency contact details, strategies to mitigate impact, procedures to be implemented and communication processes to be followed to enable the company to recover as quickly and effectively as possible from an unforeseen disaster or emergency which interrupts normal business operations.

Who is responsible for technical administration and maintenance of the Greenstone solution software?

The responsibility for technical administration and maintenance of the Greenstone solution is with the in-house software development team.
