Prior to working at Greenstone, Hugo was the co-founder of a carbon offsetting company in Lisbon, where he was responsible for designing and implementing the carbon measurement and reduction services. He has a strong background in climate change science and policy with several years of research and consultancy experience, ranging from R&D to policy analysis and development. His work has focused on potential climate change solutions, including carbon management and hydrogen and fuel cells. Hugo holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College and an MChem in Chemistry from Oxford University.
